Your first export
- 1. Open ChatGPT and choose a conversation.
- 2. Open the pink exporter panel inside the page.
- 3. Select one message, a full chat, or multiple chats.
- 4. Pick a format and content options, then export.

Common questions
The exporter is not visible
Confirm the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions, reload it, then refresh your ChatGPT tab. Open any conversation and use the small pink launcher.
No messages appear
Open the conversation you want to export, open ChatGPT Export, and select Refresh. Make sure the conversation has finished loading.
My full chat list is incomplete
Stay signed in to ChatGPT, reopen the exporter, and refresh the All chats view. Very large libraries may take a moment to load.
Images or files are missing
Enable the Images and Files options before exporting. Some assets may be unavailable if their original ChatGPT link has expired or access is restricted.
How do I create a PDF?
Choose PDF. The extension opens Chrome's print interface; select Save as PDF, review the layout, and choose where to save it.
Talk to the developer.
Include your Chrome version, extension version, export format, and a short description of what happened. Do not include private chat content.
